will guide you through the specifics of Pilates training regime
which is unlike any other approach to fitness.
We will follow Joe Pilates`s principles and learn how to:
Breathe strongly and correctly and avoid causing tension by holding
your breath.
Concentrate on how to move through an exercise, not just executing
it.
Control every movement of your body with awareness and thereby avoid
injury.
Centering – placing your attention on the core area of your
body will result in a flatter abdomen and slimmer waist. A strongly
developed centre will also lower the incidence of lower back pain
and injury.
Precision will raise the level of your workout and increase the
benefits.
Flow is one of the principles that distinguishes this approach
to fitness. Movement by its nature is continuous and as you master
the exercises this flow will improve your balance, co- ordination
and control.
