Sports and Deep Tissue Massage

Massage is a very ancient healing art. For example; the ancient
Greeks began to apply massage techniques to treat Gladiators and
athletes alongside their exercise routines.
Massage therapy influences a number of body processes as well as
giving basic relaxation and emotional support.
There is a direct effect on the soft muscular tissues being manipulated,
improving the flow of blood and lymph vessels.
There is a positive effect on the nervous (neural) and chemical
systems as the body`s healing system is stimulated. The affected
muscle fibres are encouraged to release and realign.
